Veuve Clicquot Extra Brut Extra Old Champagne
The champagne Extra Brut Extra Old was created by Dominique Demarville, Chef de Caves, by mixing prized wines from the reserves, delving into the essence of Yellow Label and thus presenting it in a new clarity. With a few wines, even from 1988, Extra Brut Extra Old is a highly innovative champagne that combines the best of house history. In keeping with the Maison Veuve Clicquot tradition and reflecting its long history of blending expertise, the wines covered in Extra Brut Extra Old have matured on lees in barrels for at least three years.
The maturation of Extra Brut Extra Old champagne continues in bottles stored in cellars for three years before disgorging.
Considering the richness of the full body of wines from the reserve in Extra Brut Extra Old champagne, the mixture has only a very small dose of sugar 3 g / l. As a final result, the wine shares its strength, freshness, aroma strength and silky taste with Yellow Label, revealing all this in an even clearer form.
