Ferdinand wines are made in Brda. The altitude of the vineyards is between 150m and 300m and mostly looking south and east. The style of the Ferdinand wine house is today shaped by Matjaz Fourth, an agronomist who, from childhood, felt he wanted to become a winemaker. He revived the family tradition, as the family of Matjaž's pranonot Ferdinand was already very successful in wine-making. In the wine cellar Ferdinand the most attention is paid to the rebula they present in all wine lines - as fresh wine (classic rebula), matured in oak barrels (Época), as macerated rebula (Brutus) and sparkling wine Sinefinis. The Ferdinand Cellar is the initiator and organizer of the Rebolium project - a rebula through time that explores and promotes its development.
