Accord of Louis XV introduced in 1731 the law that the planting of new vines requires a royal permission. Rémy Martin received this permission 7 years later, in 1738.

The Remy Martin 1738 Accord Royal is a blend of approximately 240 Eau de vie, 65% Grande Champagne and 35% Petite Champagne grapes and is aged between 4 and 20 years in Limousin oak barrels.

Tasting notes:

Colour: mahogany.
Nose: plums, figs, creamy toffee.
Taste: apricots, peaches, notes of spices, caramel and chocolate, hints of cinnamon and chocolate.
Finish: Long lasting, creamy.
