The Nikka Gold & Gold Samurai Whisky is produced in the Yoichi Distillery.
The distillery was founded by Masataka Taketsuru.
When Taketsuru travelled through Scotland, he was fascinated by the whisky production.
His aim was to produce Japanese whiskies himself and so he founded his first distillery in 1934.
In thought of the samurai warriors the Nikka Gold & Gold Samurai Whisky was created.
The bottle is eye-catching and equipped with a metal samurai armour.
Nose: vanilla, lemons, honey.
Taste: nuts, pineapple, pears.
Finish: Long lasting, liquorice, spices.
