Although the distillery was opened in 1985, it had to be closed in 1992. In 2011 the dark came back to light and the distillery could produce whisky again.
Due to the revival of the Shinshu Distillery, new releases like this Limited Edition can be launched regularly.
This delicate and extremely fruity whisky matures 800 metres above sea level in ex-Bourbon casks.
In addition, the distillery reveals that the Limited Edition may also mature in various other casks of the Shinshu Distillery.

Nose: Rich, fruity aromas, apricots, orange marmalade.
Taste: Smooth and fruity notes, oak wood.
Finish: Long lasting, white grapes, plums, cereals, chocolate.
