The Longrow Peated is the official successor of the Longrow CV and now has significantly more smoke in the whisky - hence the new name.
About the story: Two employees noticed while working at the casks that the young whiskies smelled much stronger of peat and smoke than the 10 year old Longrow. They asked for permission to mix the young Longrow with older whiskies: here is the remarkable result.
An extremely balanced malt, round and yet pithy.
Distinctly smoky, with peaty notes, yet fruity, light sweetness, becoming drier in the aftertaste.
The aftertaste is very long.
