The name "Lagavulin" is Gaelic and means "the hollow in which the mill stands".

This Lagavulin whisky was produced in collaboration with the American actor Nick Offerman. Offerman not only provided his name but was also involved in the presentation of the bottle.
The Offerman whisky matures in the ex-bourbon cask and reflects the peaty notes typical of Lagavulin whiskies.
