Krug Clos d'Ambonnay Blanc de Noirs Brut Champagne 1995
Krug Clos d'Ambonnay, the rarest Krug wine ever.
More than 20 years after the production of Krug Clos de Mesnil, Krug discovers another champagne that is both rare and exceptional: Krug Clos d’Ambonnay. The New Circle is an elegy to time, knowledge and one of the most celebrated vineyards of the house. This wine is ready today to reveal its exceptional fullness and maximum intensity.
After the presentation of the Krug Clos du Mesnil wine - which is the only exception to the Krug blending method, as it is made from one grape variety from one year and from one vineyard - Henri and Rémi Krug started looking for a new treasure, a vineyard that could one day offered a harvest with the most typical features of the area valued by the Krug family.
They finally found their jewel in the village of Ambonnay, where elegant and sophisticated Pinot Noir clusters grew, helping to shape the style of many generations of the Krug family.
The bottle is placed in an elegant black wooden box.
