The part of the whisky that evaporates from the cask during the maturing process is called "Angels Share". The part that is normally lost during storage remains in the wood of the cask and is called "Devils Cut". Jim Beam developed a process to extract the concentrated liquid from the wood of the barrel.
Nose: vanilla, wood, hints of smoke and oak.
Taste: Harmonious, vanilla, wood.
Finish: Long lasting.
