The Gesellmann winery is located in Deutschkreuz, in the Burgenland. The nearby Lake Neusiedl has a decisive influence on the climate in this region.
Since 1767, when the estate was first mentioned, it has been handed down from generation to generation. The estate covers 40 hectares.
Dark ruby garnet with purple accents. In the nose of fine herbal spice, heart cherries and blackberries. Fine minerality on the palate. Nougat notes, herbal spice and well-integrated tannins accompany the palate. Long lasting elegant and substantial finish.
Grape varieties: Blaufränkisch, St. Laurent, Zweigelt.
Aging: 20 months in small oak barrels.
Residual sugar: 1.0 g/l.
Acidity: 6.2 g/l.
Closure: Natural cork.
