Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Prestige 2016
Fermentation and expansion completely in one to two year old Burgundian barriques from Troncois. The nose is dominated by ripe Williams pear with lemongrass and rosemary. Rock salt, white cassis. Despite the still very present wood, the very beautiful breed predominates. Great freshness. A hint of anise. Intense racy mouth. Some grass, clear flint. Again pear, also apricot, which dominates the white currant that is already in the nose. Very long and sustainable. The wine will age excellently. For Roussanne unusually slim and rich in finesse. Superb. Very convincing in its abundance and round taste, dramatic reverberation, one of the best white wines of the southern Rhone.
