BUMBU RUM XO Bumbu Rum XO is produced in a distillery in Panama that has been active for 120 years. Locally harvested sugar cane was processed into molasses, which was distilled with clear spring water. The resulting rum spent 18 years in old bourbon barrels made of American white oak. Finally, it spent a short time finishing in sherry barrels - also made of white oak - which were sourced from Andalusia. The long maturing time of Bumbu Rum XO is already noticeable in the nose. The aroma is characterised by vanilla, roasted oak and toffee. The palate picks up where the nose left off. The taste shows nuances of coffee, spices and orange peel.
