Aldinger Brut Nature 2013
Germany's best sparkling wine? At least in the very first row! The Brut Nature has a delicate golden straw color in the glass. The formation of the Mousseux is smooth and even, you have the finest bubbles in the glass. In the bouquet you have pure yeast storage noblesse. Very fine notes of brioche, flaked almonds, also acacia honey, white flowers behind. The majesty then spreads on the palate. The perlage is literally velvety, does not overwhelm the palate. You can feel the long yeast storage, good sparkling wine just takes time. Although a Brut Nature, there is by no means a barren and exhausting minimalism in the glass. You have crunchy yellow fruits like lemon, fresh mirabelle and some grapefruit. Beautiful mineral notes that go perfectly with oysters and poached fish! Aldinger manages to conjure a highly balanced, flattering and therefore hedonistic filling into the glass that does not require any make-up due to residual sugar. There is simply the necessary raw material in the glass. This is the finest sparkling wine from Germany, which can easily compete with our neighbors from France. Manufactured goods from Fellbach, sparkling in their own winery. Patients put bottles away and watch the sparkling wine with bottle maturity, because it will surely get finer with maturity. Please absolutely need large white wine glasses!
