Adir Plato 2015
At 870 meters above sea level, the terroir of the upper Galilee offers the perfect conditions for this composition of Cabernet Sauvignon and a little Syrah. Plato is a single layer of the winery's oldest vines. Yair Margalit used to get his grapes here! Volcanic soil, best terroir. The cool nights in the mountains create immense day-night differences and bring the high complexity and intense taste. The careful yield limitation and the manual harvesting and selection, in which only the best grapes are harvested (in the cool night with spotlights!), Brings the outstanding quality. "Plato" is a deep dark, massive wine. Aromas of cassis, black fruit and a hint of clove give it power. The nose is overwhelmed by the impressions: dark chocolate, leather, sweet wood. Lend the enamel in large oak barrels for 24 months and in bottle for another 8 months before Avi Rosenberg releases the wine. "Plato" is an exceptional personality and one of the country's great wines.
